im 11 mah sistas got it when they were 8 they were lucky they didnt know wat a period was so they ddnt have 2 tell mah mom they just screamed cuz they didnt know they had there period but how do i tell mah mom??
i dont want mah sistas 2 know........n i dont really wanna tell mah mom like i got mah period like a month ago and i didnt tell her i just started washing my own langry bc i didnt want her 2 know i havent warn anything
i dont reallllly wanna tell her till im 13-15 i can hide it till then :P

I'm 11 and I got my period last month. I went up to sister (school nurse) and asked for a pad. I told my mum when I got home in private without my brother around. You could probably go to your school nurse or sickbay and ask for some pads or buy some with your allowance. I think you should tell your mum. Getting your period is nothing to be ashamed of, it's like celebrating your 13th birthday early although you probably shouldn't tell everyone!

Well, I am in the same situation as you except I already had my period and I still have not told her. Anyways, some people just blurt it out, others write a note, text, ask for supplies but don't actually say it, I was going to try to not tell her and buy all my own stuff but now I have to get out of something and I need to tell her. If you dont find any answers on this question I asked the same one like 20 minutes ago. I am still not sure......

Dont stress about it, it really shouldnt be a big deal. You never know, it might bring you two closer, obviously you dont feel you can share much with her. Just sit her down and tell her. She might ask when you got it, if she does, maybe just say 'this week' cos she might be hurt if she knows you hid it from her. If your sisters got it young too, she'll understand.

why do you want to wait to tell your mom? there's nothing to be embarrassed about. It is a perfectly normal & necessary function. just take your mom aside when she isn't busy & tell her that you have gotten your period. Please don't try to hide it-you'll make your life difficult & will always worry that someone will find out. good luck.

I know it mite feel weird but just think ur mum went through it and just get her on her own and tell her... believe me its better letting her no also theres goin to be many quests in life ul wana ask her... hoped i helpep :)

y should you hide it fromyour mom?
tell her as she can guide you in the right way and buy pads for you etc.. no need to hide. Go to her and tell her mom i got my periods and pls help me with that.. thats all
