Furthest from the coast of what ... America or continental Europe? Or do you mean the most inland in Britain? Inland in Britain, I'd hazard to guess Salsbury.

The Town is called "Flash", which causes it to be the butt of jokes about people 'flashing' in 'Flash'.
It was reputedly a site for forgery some time in the past, so that false notes were called 'flash money'.
