I never had a doll as a little girl, we were very poor. I used to make dolls out of our towels and other make to do dolls. When I got married, I mentioned this to my husband I was 36 years old at the time. One afternoon he came home with a Barbie doll- it was my very first doll, and it was Barbie. I am50 years old now and still have my first and only doll doll I have ever own. To answer your question, no one is too old to have or play with Barbie doll.

I'm a Barbie wanna be! I can only wish that I looked like Barbie. I think she is absolutely beautiful. I guess if I were a Barbie, I would be the "ugly" friend. The one that always wants the attention of Ken, but in reality the one that all of Barbie's other friends make fun of. That seems to be the story of my life.... the wanna be girl!

My body proportions don't look that different from a Barbie doll ;) as I have a tiny waist and quite broad hips!!..
If I was a doll, I would certainly be one with red hair.... I found this nice picture of a red-haired Barbie in a white bride dress.....
