Last year we had a bunch of trick or treaters, and we gave out good stuff -- and ran short towards the end.

This year we laid in a supply of candy that would choke a horse, but had only about ten children show up.

My partner's diabetic and I'm on a strict diet regimen, so what do I do with all these extra candy? Lordy, you could build a small retaining wall with the stuff.

Suggestions?

You could donate it to a homeless shelter or battered women's shelter. You could use it at Christmas for some goody bags. Heck if you want, you can mail it to me, it is just about that time of the month and nothing helps me get through it better than chocolate and Motrin.

Mail it to government offices and write "happy time" as the return address. Then there can either be an anthrax scare or some bureaucrats will get some candy. Or you could send it all to the IRS and demand a second tax refund.

We gave tons of candy to my fiances nephew last year, saved a little for our daughter, and also gave a lot to his friend who is a chocoholic. Do you have any relatives that are kids? Give it to them and send em home pumped up on sugar!

My coworker would always bring her extra candy to work. It was gone in a day.

Just bring some when you go out and offer it to passersby. A nice smile will convince them it's good candy and not laced with anything.
Church, mall, playground or charitable institutions where there are kids are some places to give out the sweets.

*how l wish l could see you so l'll get it myself*

go to an orphanage or a children's hospital and give the candy to them. I'm sure you'll really make their day.

Take it to work and give it out to anyone who walks past. If you're lucky, people will purposely keep walking past you when they hear you're giving out candy!
