My hair used to be short but I haven't cut it in a long long time and its getting to be rather long and its currently at emo hair length just about. Mine is usually sticking up as much as i can make it and as crazy looking as I can get it, but my hair is naturally straight. If you saw someone with hair similar to emo hair even if their clothes and demeanor weren't emo would you assume they were emo? I like making fun of emo people I don't want to be put in with them. Wow that's the most I've ever said emo in a row. emo.

If people are respectful then I do not feel they would judge others. You should not judge people for their lifestyle choices or appearances because you do not fully know what kind of person he/she may be. You should not worry about your hair too much. It seems you are only worried because you make fun of emo people. Remember it is important to treat other people how you would like to be treated, so if you were respectful I do not think you would have any problems.

i don't enjoy emo... i do the hair without covering my face...
just don't cover your face with the hair and don't wear the emo black, white or gray clothes, don't use eyeliner etc... try bright colors hahaha... it would look like the anti-emo fashion except for a little on the hair... that's what i do... and to complete the anti-emo movement, be sure t wear this wide smile and be sorrounded by people, have fun fun fun :)

Tight jeans, battered vanz off the wall, black nail polish, eye liners, black semi tight shirt, if you have all of those at once, people will think you're the EMO type,
the hair brings up the emo look, bangs to one side eh? fringe type? it depends.

Nah...emo should not just be about clothes, it's also about attitude. Try to smile more and appear more upbeat, 'cause emo always look pensive and sullen.
