The time is still the same. What changes is our perception on time. When our minds are at still, there is no such brain activity and we feel bored as the result of it. But time doesn't at all change. It is the feeling of being idle that makes time slow. Inaction of our mind put our metabolism at a low level. In the instant case you gave when taking exam, our mind is pressured to do a specific performance in a given time. We tend to concentrate more on the task and therefore shifts our mind instantly. We seem to think that time is so short because it is the stage where our minds are functioning at its best. Ergo, it is only in the mind.
Thanks for asking. Have a great day!

well it depends. I personally feel as though time posseses 2 aspects 1 is physicall the second is mental .Physicall is things like hormones and maturity. Were as when we expericence a situation the faster or slower time goes depends on the person but ultimatley the rate or speed at which time passes in inconsequential as humans have no control over it. Humans can't touch the time space continuum. So as answer no and yes the time stream doen't change but our perspective does.

It SURE does for me. Just the other day I found myself at the registration counter of a hospital and the lady at the counter was doing everything in a slowwww motion. I was there just to get a second opinion from a competent doctor but that lady really made my seconds tick like hours, I felt like tearing my hair (and hers, too).

Sometimes I wished it would be the opposite. I'd prefer quicker flights and slower exam times and/or deadlines.

Whenever you go to see the Doctor, when you feel sick, time passes real slow, sometimes I would like to get up from the chair and go. but, if you are at a Party and having a good time, time flies real fast then.

No...-Only according to Perception. You want Time to "Crawl"?- Be Bored. You want Time to pass Quickly- DO something to preoccupy yourself with (& take your mind OFF of Time)- and Time will just "Fly". Time has only ONE "Speed". It's up to YOU- how "fast" that IS!!! :)

No. The simple answer is when you are using your brain, things can go very quickly but when your brain isn't doing anything, time seems slower.
