1.6 Ghz, I opted to try to max out the RAM (DDR) memory rather than to get a new processor and deal with the increased cost in the DDR-2 memory. Maxing out your RAM is a much better feature (IMO) than to worry so much about the processor speed. That's if cost is an issue.
If cost is no issue the get the latest and greatest and max out your RAM immediately.
