acting strange? Has your best friend changed drastically? My BFF had some rough times our first year of college, and she hasnt been the same since. :-(

I tried to talk to her in the past, but she shut everyone out. EVERYONE. Like, she wouldnt answer phone calls, nothing. So its hard to even bring that all up, since I was going thru my own issues then and when I needed her, she wasnt there...
How do I even start that convo?

Yes this has happened to me. Your friend has probably just matured a little from experiencing life outside of highschool. Maybe not. Rough times can change people drastically. The best thing you can do to help is to be a good friend. Don't pry into their feelings or try to change them. Live and let live.

your question is a Lil' unusual. you didn't fill in the rest or something like that. but if you feel a change towards -you- just ask what it is and try to listen with an open mind. sometimes talking to your bff is very touch-ee and can lead to hurt feelings. if its not at you -then when life kicks you around.....you do change from the experiences that we all have and it really does change a person. and that's a good thing....we all learn on this planet..ask....you sound like you need to -and it sounds like she or he could use an ear!!

Nope. She's been the same wonderful person for 21 years. (That's how long we've been friends, believe or not!) I love her dearly, no matter what she goes through or what comes her way. Maybe you should talk to your friend about it. If it's really changed her all that much, she probably is carrying some dead weight on her shoulders. Good luck to you both.

My best friend is a girl. She has really changed in the last six months. Not the same girl I used to know.

Yes, except that I'm still in highschool. One of them got pulled in by peer pressure (this thing where she changes for boys) and another one is getting rather 'revealing' in photos for Myspace and such. It's really annoying and I can't seem to help.

Going to college can be a big change for anyone. and it also helps you to grow. To me it just sounds like your best friend grew up.

as we grow older there'll be changes be it good or bad. especially if we have faced tragic events or have been in traumatic experience changes occur. maybe you need a heart to heart talk with your bestfriend is what you need better late than never... maybe he/she haven't accepted what happened to her and needs a confidant all this time.
in my case, we are not very strict with each other, we see each other if we have time and we have agreed to tell each other things or events if we feel there's a need.
