Normally, I try to be funny, but...I'm a very old (43) experienced singer/songwriter, and so...I thought I'd be "brutally honest" about my opinion...
That was "friggin great!"
No sheeet...damn good lyrics...damn good melody...and damn good "minimalistic" recording...I friggin loved it...
(I'm bowing down before your talent...keep up the good work...)
Hope that wasn' too..."brutal"...for you...(smiles)

P.S. I just heard it a 2nd time...and sat with my acoustic guitar in front of the computer...and...I can now play the whole thing...I'm a "quick" learner after all these years...and if you need a "guitarist" to play it live for you...I offer my services "free of charge..." Hope it becomes a "hit..." I think it would be one...good luck...

I think the melody you wrote over the piano chops up the flow of things (most likely because it's not in the right key) But the words are cool, I think that you tried to project and enunciate your words rather than push them while you speak as well as working with tone and dynamics you could do well. I think you should learn a little more about the process of writing music, and just practice and you'll be great.

Not bad, not bad at all. You had a few inspired moments where you hit on a nice melody. Lyrically, the song is already there, you just need to work on the delivery a lot more. Believe me, that was better than anything I could do.

I like the lyrics... you got to work on your tone and tempo, it seemed kinda choppy, and little bit tensed.... but I really like it... its so good, that my self esteem is going down from all the crappy questions I'm asking... thank you evil midget pidgeon..
