If you are planning on completing your Associates degree at the 2-year college before transferring, you won't need the SAT and you don't need to do anything. If you plan to transfer before getting your Associate's, then you should try to retake the SATs and perhaps also take the ACT.

"If you are planning to attend a 2 year then transfer to a 4 year then you have nothing to worry about. Just make sure you keep that GPA up."
-Correct. 2-year college grades will weigh more significantly than an SAT...SAT scores are supposed to be a measure of how prepared you are to handle college life...But if you already have 2 years of college to show to them, and your grades are great........Then who cares what the SAT shows - you proved otherwise by ACTUALLY doing the college!
Keep up the good grades in your 2-year college and you'll be fine!

However, if you feel that bad about it, get some SAT preparation material, review it every few days/weeks, and retake it when you feel prepared. Speak with a counselor/advisor at your nearby highschool/college to schedule and discuss the re-taking of your SAT.

Good luck, and work hard!

You can always retake it in a couple of years before you apply to transfer to a 4-year college. It sounds as though you weren't expecting to do that badly, so you probably just had a bad day. Don't beat yourself up about it; just take it again in a few years.

Take it again. And there are things that matter more to college board then your SAT reasoning scores. Work on grades and first impressions.

Do they still do the ACT? I did that and got into a tough college with a 870 SAT.
