I was deployed for a year once myself. when i got home the last of my thoughts was "what the hell did you buy!". besides, if you are slimmed up, looking good, and feeling good about yourself.....trust me, he won't even stop to consider the dang thing until you let him.

Wives do things like this all the time. If it doesn't put you deep in debt and you're using it. It's no big deal. I've got a feeling he would rather have you buy the equipment then partying with a bunch of guys everynite. If your so quilty about it just tell him and explain how you feel. If he's as great as you think he will be happy for you. You never know it might just be something that he wanted too.

I would congratulate her on for losing the extra weight and thank her buying the machine she used to do it!
He's been away, and you're in charge of the home base. This is covered in his post-deployment training..."what to expect form your spouse now that you're home." With him deployed you had to make all of the decisions, often without consulting with him first...you have nothing to feel guilty about, and he will understand that.
If anything does cause friction between you and your hubby, talk to his unit chaplain, or call the family advocacy office on post.
Good job losing the extra pounds! Keep up the good work once he gets back.

He'll be happy that you spent the money because you've lost a lot of weight and are healthier. It's not like you needed the money for something more important than your health! Besides, the weight loss and healthy lifestyle will improve your sex life.
Tell him you wanted to suprise him with your new body.

think it is great that you aree trying to improve your health for him. I do think However you should let him in on the purchase and that it is doing for you. and what you ar doing really is for him. Sharing the info will relieve any guilt issues and let him aire any concerns he has. He likely wants to make sure you are healthy so be sure to check with a doctor and make sure you are still getting the nutrients you need.

you could take a picture of you on the machine working out and send it to him with a love letter about how good your feeling about yourself and him and how you will have so much energy for him when he gets home. we all know you need to do this for yourself but you could tell him you want to be in good health and live a long and happy life together. way to go on the 60 lbs.. good job and good luck

As long as it wasn't a waste of money (which it sounds like it is not), I'd probably not even think twice about it. It doesn't sound like you have extreme spending binges. No need to have guilt on a 1-time spend.

it is a very good investment you made.
Besides he will love your improved physique and the new energy and that you are better looking, all husbands like that.
So just tell him you are doing all of this for him to feel better, look better and live healthier. So don;t worry I am sure he will be delighted.
Keep up the good work

...Hi...
....I wouldn't wait to appreciate her....instead of sitting idle / watching TV / visiting neighbors and relatives to pass the time....this is much better.., more over if my wife wanted to do exercises and look good than before ...one way or other it is good for me ...like her new look / energy would give me and my sexuality a boost.....but still I would expect a call from her ..if she want to by any EXPENSIVE item NEXT time....it is not for asking my permission...but to know your spouse whats going on with you...that's all.
But here honey...just tell him that you wanted to give him a surprise by shedding your weight / by your new look...that's why you didn't inform him.....most probably he is going to appreciate you.
