What family does Sulfur belong to?

the non-metallic family

well, it is a non-metal for one. to be more specific is a non-metallic solid orthorhombic crystalline rock. it is multivalent with many other chemicals and compounds. and yes... it does smell really really bad lol.

Sulfur belongs to the 16th family on the periodic table, which is called the "chalcogens", if that's what your looking for. The other answers are also correct, but it seemed like you were looking for a specific name.
