There was this guy, and he really liked me and was really sweet, so I tried to like him back in the same way, but when we kissed it just tasted terrible. Don't know what it was. I just figured that it wasn't meant to be and stopped trying so hard to like him in a way that wasn't coming naturally.

No. Never happened to me. Anytime I've ever kissed somebody it always sends blood rushing to another area of my body...

Yes, I would have thought that it was cardboard if he had not been standing there. Evidentally, he learned how to kiss, because he is married and has kids now.
