First of all being an attorney at that he should have known better than to file such a ludacris law suit. He was a judge also an administrative one I believe. I saw it on television. The family at the cleaners should have just bought a new pair for him and it should have been over. Clothes do get lost at cleaners or damaged it is a common occurance. It can't be the first time a dry cleaner in AMERICA lost a pair of trousers. This guy should have his bar license suspended like MIKE NIFONG did in the FAKE DUKE RAPE CASE. He cost DUKE MILLIONS IN A SETTLEMENT with the poor 3 lacrosse players that were acquited because the lady that said she was raped was lying. YET NOTHING HAPPENED TO HER she wasn't prosecuted or anything. POOR LIAR GIRL right they can't prosecute her for perjury . OH WAIT I THOUGHT I LIVED IN AMERICA and thought everyone was created equal. MY MISTAKE. This dumb *** that filed a $ 54 or I thought it was a $ 64 million dollar law suit over a pair of trousers should be held accountable and should have to pay restitution to the family he ruined. JUST GOES to show that if you are in the law system you can get away with anything because you are suppose to be beyond reproach. Well I am here to say SAD SAD SAD this guy should be ashamed of himself but he is POMPUS and IGNORANT!!! Masquareding as a TRUTHFUL, HONEST, PUBLIC SERVANT and then filing a suit for that amount of money. Guess he wanted to retire and the government went ahead and retired him for himself. That way he won't treat people that way again. HOORAY !!!!

He should have been fired before now.
You should have asked, "why did it take so long to fire him?"
He was doing what the law allowed but it was very unethical and as a judge, he should be held to a high standard of ethics.

That isn't nearly enough.
I heard his suit cost the cleaners $100k in legal fees and drove them out of business. The former judge should have to pay compensation for the damages he caused to this poor family.

Uh-oh! If he would sue a drycleaner for $54 million over a pair of lost pants, can you imagine what he would sue for over losing his job?

That was an utter abuse of the legal process. It reflected poorly on the legal profession, and he should be sanctioned by the DC bar (or whichever bar(s) in which he is licensed).

He was an administrative law judge and yes, I am glad he is no longer in that position.
