i just put a brand new master cylender, front calipers, front hoses, front pads, right rear piston, blead all the lines, and i am still having break problems and was told that i had to bleed the master cilender so if that is true then i was wondering if anyone knew how to do this and i appriciate the ansewers thanks oh yea it is on a 91 honda civic thanks

most auto parts stores sell an inexpensive kit to bleed the master cylinder. Essentially you need to put two adaptors to the outlet lines of the master cylinder that have plastic hoses attached to them; those plastic hoses are routed back up to the fluid reservoir of the master cylinder. Then you depress the brake pedal and release it a few times until all of the air is out of the master cylinder ports. Once that has been done you can reattach the brake lines and then go about bleeding the brake system once again starting at the rear wheels fartherst from the master cylinder and working your way to the front wheel closest to the master cylinder.

I can speak from experience: unless you bleed the master cylinder you'll continue to have little or no brake pressure. It can be done on the car as long as you buy the bleeder kit.
