You can't change him, but if you want more romance in your relationship, create it yourself. Light candles at dinner or send him flowers to the house. Make reservations and take him to dinner...he'll get the message. BTW, if he wasn't your version of romantic when you were dating, he was giving you a big clue that he's just not that kind of guy. Don't take it personally, just create romance yourself.

I don't think you can make them change things like that.. so maybe just let him know that you like romantic things by being pretty blunt and coming right out and telling him. At least then he'll know. But don't expect him to do it on his own because some men just aren't romantic and I don't think you can change that because it's just not them...

I can sympathize, my husband didn't inherit the romantic gene either. If it is not in their nature to be romantic you can't change them. If he was romantic before and is not now maybe you should take the initiative.

You can't make someone something they're not-you should expect your husband to stay exactly the same as he is now. What you *can* do is take the lead. If you want more romance, make more romance, and if he enjoys it then he may start initiating it himself.

You need to make it clear how important it is to you. He will never be that dying romantic, because evidentally that is not his nature. He can, however, make an effort to show you a bit more romance.

Tell him to make you feel special. You need to sit down and talk to him about how you feel. Tell him some ideas. Leave hints around the house. Talk to one of his friends that you get along with. Friends help sometimes. Good Luck!

Ask him out on a date and you set the scene. It works every time with my husband.

He probably wants you to be more sexually agressive. how about you split the difference..you become more sexually suggestive (slutty in the bedroom) and maybe he'll return the favor with romance.

Get involved with massage and candles. See how he reacts to that kind of stimuli.
