don't get me wrong it was a bad day for many people. BUT america has killed over a Million people in iraq, and almost more soldiers have died there than people who died in the trade center, and thousands of soldiers and civilian afghanistans, what makes you think that 9/11 is worse than all of these atrocities (if not you then most of the u.s) ? do you think that the life of someone in america is more important than the life of someone in iraq ? because if you do then i gotta tell you, if you visit a graveyard in america, and one in iraq, you will see they're not very different, both are filled with darkness and sadness, the agony of crying mothers, fathers, wives, haunted by the memories of those who have left them.. so what gives ? why is 9/11 talked about almost every day as if it's the worst thing in the world, when it doesn't even compare to some of the things we've seen in these past few years ?

you're full of crap, there is no difference between ''flying planes into buildings'' and taking a huge army into a country (That has done nothing to you) and invading it, killing many of it's people, and then lying and saying ''we're the good guys, we're trying to bring peace''... remember, just because you say it doesn't make it true, or actually go tell that the people in iraq who've had family killed in the war and see what their response is.

Jon, people that defend their country are not terrorists, the army that invades a country is a terrorist.

A man enters your house in the middle of the night and attacks your daughter and then turns to kill your son, you have a gun in your hand. What do you do? Kill the man who is attacking your family and about to kill your son or do you contemplate the ratifications of your attackers life? 9-11 is this blown up to a National level. 19 men have attacked and killed 3000 in our own country. Waves of thousands stand ready to follow them in to attack. Do you contemplate what your military action will do to some foreign country or do you push back the attackers and keep them out of your country by taking the fight to their country? You forget that for the many that fit your civilians terrorized argument millions more rember the Talaban killing them for flying kites or taking a stroll without a male family member along or Sadaam's men knocking on the door and making your family members disappear. The brutality of War doesn't compare to the concentration camps these people lived in.

First, you have your information twisted. Iraqi civilians are being murdered by terrorists, it's not a million in Iraq...now if you start counting places like Spain, Taiwan, Africa and all the other places that the terrorists are murdering people you might get close to a million.
Second, I have family in Iraq so I'd appreciate it if you didn't act like you speak for them, for me or our beliefs.
Last, the comparison between chickensh*t's flying planes into buildings and war shows you aren't really open for anything but your own opinion. So nothing anybody says to you is going to matter.

EDIT: Like I said, I have family over there and since they know a little bit more about what is going on over there, I think I'll listen to them...but thanks anyway.
Also like I said, you wasted 5 points, you aren't really looking for any answers or even an open debate.

So if the next terrorist attack God forbid would kill my loved ones I should contact you and you will comfort me by reminding me it's nothing cause we've killed more in Iraq? It's hard to believe our soldiers are risking their lives for EVERYONE in this country and not just those that deserve it!

This country spends BILLIONS if not TRILLIONS of dollars on state of the art technology to reduce civilian casualties as much as possible while engaging our enemies. Gone are the days of carpet bombing cities and killing hundreds of thousands of innocent people to hit a military target. There will ALWAYS be collateral damage when fighting a war. But the key difference that you fail to recognize is that Al Qaeda terrorists actually TARGET the innocent. They indiscriminately target civilians to murder. Not just in New York or Washington on 911, but also in Madrid, London, Bali, Saudi Arabia, and Kenya.

In other words, we don't target innocent civilians. Our enemy does.

It's natural for an American to be concerned about what happens in his own country. I would not expect someone from Iraq to be concerned about my country as much as I am.

you know, that talk about all these civilians dying over there. I wonder how many of those "civilians" were housing terorists and what not? Its a shame that terrorists keep their children at their hide outs. Remember, just because their not in uniform or their not male doesnt mean they are "civilian"

You must be listening to wackos like Rosie O'Donnel when you state that America has killed over a million people in Iraq.

9-11... 3,000 or so Americans died ON TV in about 1 hour...

that's a lot of people... in front of a lot of people... really quickly...

now... that's not to say the deaths in Iraq aren't bad... but they don't seem to be happening by the hour, by the thousand...

and it was also symbolic that it was our towers... one of our symbols of strength...

You're an idiot. "killed over a million people in iraq," not hardly. We have liberated the Iraqi people from a murderous dictator. No thanks are necessary. Just smile and shut the f u ck UP!
