In general, I like a nice balance. I walk everyday - rain or shine. Sometimes it is enjoyable, sometimes it's a pain in the neck.
Love to go to yard sales, flea markets. I also like to pack a small picnic lunch and head for the local park, plop myself down with a pillow, a good lunch and a good book. Have been known to snooze awhile too.
In the winter, nothing is cozier to me that putting on my warm, soft, old comfortable "snuggly" clothes, my thick knitted "footies" and spending the day on the sofa watching good movies or reading, napping and drinking hot chocolate - made from scratch. If it's snowing, it's even better. I live on the top floor of my building - the 10th" and watching the snow fall and cover the trees and driveways is so peaceful and restful.
Best part is I don't have to shovel any of it.....
I travel a lot and love it. I love to cruise, take road trips, visit friends in other states.
Sometimes - usually in bad weather or during cold winter stretches, I may not leave my house for a week...and that's fine too. I have many things I love to do at home; cook, embroider, geneaology, read....
I guess I'm just a contented person.....a flower doesn't care where it's planted, ya know.

I like staying in. I worked in retail for years. I don't want to be around the general public unless I have to be. The rudeness and noise bothers me. I can't tell you how long it's been since I've been to a movie theater. Spend all that money to have some one kick the back of my chair for almost 2 hours. I don't think so. I'm very physically able to get out and do what ever I want, when ever I want. I just choose to stay in and enjoy my sewing room, kitchen and exercise room. When I do go out, it's to shop for something specific. I rarely go out to restaurants, unless I can find one that has a "no child" section. Even the more expensive places are swarmed by unruly children. My children knew how to act in public. There's peace inside my home.

I've become a little bit of homebody, too....but there are times that I just have to get out and about and be around others. Even if it's something as simple as walks down around the our historic area, the mall or out at the beach. Like to go out for dinner now and then, and love small get-togethers with friends and family. Don't much enjoy big parties anymore where there's lots of drinking and carrying on....in that case I'd rather be home!

Mostly I stay at home. I do not have family in this state and I am disabled. I do go out if one of my friends drives me (to the grocery store, the library, etc) but as I have emphysema, hauling a tank of oxygen around is a pain! So I shop for my needs on line, spend a lot of time on the computer (and make a little extra money with it) and watch my favorite programs on television. I am also an avid reader and letter writer. So my indoor time is quite productive and I save gas by staying here! I am blessed with wonderful friends who visit me.

Depends - during the week, once I come home from work it would take an earth mover to get me back out again! lol
But on Saturdays I like to get out and about - movie, wish shopping, dining etc.
I'm not at all like I used to be - a 'road runner' then - couldn't seem to stay home EVER! Those days are long gone. I just don't have the inclination any more and love my home and peace and quiet far from the maddening crowd.

I'd much rather be out during the daylight hours. But I prefer to be in by night fall. Unless I am on vacation. The only time I tend to want to stay in, is when it is raining or snowing.

In general, I like to stay home. If I could see better at night I would probably go out more. At this stage of my life it is safer to drive only during the day.

I try to go out, to the grocery and to dinner sometimes. I really do. But I don't go out as much as I used to, before 9-11. I just pretty much stay home if I can get away with it. It's not that I don't like people. I do. I'm just afraid still.
Don't get me wrong. I know there's good folks and there's bad folks and I ain't prejudice. I never was. I'm just scared. Hell, now I'm weepy again and I no doubt sound like an old fool. I'm sorry.

I would rather stay in because I don't enjoy "the getting there" anymore . There is too much traffic ,too many people and the service sector, just isn't what it used to be. I like ordering takeout because there is always leftovers for later. In my younger years we did go out a lot but I just don't enjoy it anymore. (I'm a homebody) , true to my Cancerian astrological sign!

It depends on who I'm going out with. Since I don't have any friends of interest right now, I would rather stay in.
