The one with all the acts?

One word...........HORRIBLE! Last night I actually watched the entire 2 hours because it was a total train wreck and I couldn't look away. I almost believe that NBC is actually performing a joke on its viewers and at the end of it they will say "gotcha". I have never seen such bad magic in my life. The Amazing Jonathon has better magic and he is a comic who intentially screws up his magic tricks for humor. And you can totally tell that the assistants are in on the "magic". For example, that gorgeous blond Shandy (from Lingo) last night was asked to help out one of the acts at the beginning. The magician borrowed her sun glasses. Wait a minute. Why would a woman in a evening dress indoors be carrying sunglasses and not on her head or face, but just tucked into her DRESS of all things. Even if you can for some reason believe that this wardrobe flaw was just that, when the magician started the glasses floating, I actually saw a fishing wire, did anybody else catch that? Last week Carmen Electra helped in a trick where she had to load a nail gun...........when did Carmen Electra learn to load a nail gun???????????? How about the guy who can mentally stop his own heart and NBC tells you to "not try this at home" Are you kidding me? I could go on and on.

I enjoyed the acts...But I really hated how they wasted a good 10 minutes in the middle of the show deciding who would stay and who would go. I mean, I understand the suspense and whatever--but that just felt like they were padding the show cause they couldn't fill time with anything worth watching.

Some of the acts didn't seem that convincing. The chick with the knives was hot, but it would be waaaay too easy to mark those sleeves covering the knives (the assistant actually did, inadvertently, crush one of the cylinders). I don't know if I believe the guy who "stopped" his heart.

All in all I wasn't too impressed. I quit watching after the first hour. Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares was more interesting, even if it was a rerun.

The girl's act was a joke, the "Russian Roulette" with the knife trick. So damned easy to figure out: she marked the stand she stuck the knife into with a "tell". If you'd noticed, she was responsible for placing the knife in the stand. The stand either had a mark or "tell" already or she marked it when she put in the knife when she conspicuously wrapped her hands around the base, which was either stainless steel or aluminum which would have noticeably smeared and marked with fingerprints a polished surface. I am baffled that her trick seemed to amaze everyone so much. The guy the episode before, however, who did "Russian Roulette" with the nail guns was awesome. That was dangerous as hell and not easy to figure out. I have to applaud Criss Angel for ridiculing that lame phony with his incredibly poor acting. I couldn't believee that idiot. Anyone who buys into that load of crap is a moron and I have some great swamp land I'd like to sell them.

Haven't seen it actually but based on the answers I've read doesn't seem like a real brain teaser. Grateful for the reviews though, saves me the time, torture and energy of recording it. My hubby will be very disappointed though, he was really looking forward to it.

I'm watching right now - not too into it. I did, however, enjoy when Raven screamed (holding the hand of the guy that stopped his heart). She seemed sincere.

I just saw the guy that had a premonition about the fictional murder and thought that was pretty fun.
