ASK your fellow students to get the PHOTOS of those members of their families that HAVE SERVED over the years ... Grandparents, Parents, Uncles/Aunts, Siblings, etc ...

And .. with the photos ... include some interesting details -- like conflicts served in, years of service, some interesting comments on what they saw or experienced, good works (Volunteering) that they did ... and make a Collage of all of this for the DOOR!

The reason I am saying this ... I am a Military Retiree (Female), with siblings still serving, and my Father (a 1st Generation American) also was a paraplegic WWII Veteran (served in North Africa, Up the Boot of Italy, and part of the Occupation Forces too).

To personalize it with these special photos and memories (especially of those WWII Veterans still living) would be a good remembrance. And .... if you are willing to go and be kind enough to ask .. call your local Military Service Organization (like the VFW or American Legion, for example) to ask for their stories/photos of service too. MANY of us who have served will be willing to tell some of our stories.
