I go to this buffet restaurant like once every week and the chinese waitress that speaks english with a thick accent always takes the plate away, but she does it when I have the last piece of food on my fork or when I have 1 or 2 pieces on the plate, it's like she's watching me just to run over and take my plate away when i'm about to take my last bites of food.

I haven't actually checked to see if she's actually watching me eat, but it does seem so.

last time it pissed me off so much that I only left her a dollar, I usually leave 3 dollars, I eat 2 1/2 plates of food and always take a friend.

What's happening??? I don't understand, was i tipping too little?? eating too much???

She might think she's being very attentive.
Either ask her;-} or just get another plate.

I've had waitresses do that to me too...very annoying and rude if you ask me, the tip you gave was definitly too much as I would not have tipped her anything for being so rude. You can tell when someone is not completely finished eating, if anything she should have asked you if you were done or not. I would not change my eating habits due to a rude waitress but I would for sure change my tipping habits as in little to no money if she continues what she's doing.

The way to halt his action is to track down your server and explain you must leave your table briefly and ask he to please leave your plate along. She cleared your plate as she thought you were finished cause you were not there and she was readying your table for the next customer.

Now is she takes it while you are eating, tell her you are still eating.

Keep one hand on your plate. Maybe she'll catch a clue.
