It very miniscule amounts, it's not harmful. However, your baby doesn't need the salt. As parents, we put it on because it makes the food taste better to us. The fact is, a baby doesn't know that food tastes better with salt, unless we as parents begin putting it on their food. They don't know what they're missing, so why give them something that they don't really need.

None. I think salt on fruit tastes nasty. My husband likes it on watermelon though.
