I'm a fairly faster typer on the keyboard, but I'm interested in a data entry operator so I need to pick up my keypad speed to be accepted. I don't use the keypad much so I'm looking for someone with some experience and some links to learn.

Thank you!

Using the built-in Word Pad and your keypad, numeric data entry is simple to master.

Practice, practice, practice. No tutorial required.

TIP: Use any source for lists of numbers, like the phone book, a newspaper or a local grocery store flyer. Time yourself when you do it the first time, then, using the same flyer, time yourself again a week later. Your speed and accuracy will improve over time.

Here is a website:

http://www.download.com/3120-20_4-0.html?tg=dl-20&qt=typing&tag=srch (this has the Mavis Bacon Typing software you can download for free)

or here's another one:

www.typingtest.com (On this one you can do your test for free)

You can also type in "free typing lessons", "free typing games" or just "free typing" in your Yahoo search and it will bring up a lot of places you can look at.

Check them out!! (I think I will too!)
