I just had a gynocological exam and I'm guessing he did a pap test, coz he scraped my insides with a tiny wood stick.
Is it normal that, since the exam, it hurts and burns like a urine infection when I go pee? lower stomach pain?

Not normal. The "scraping" with the wooden "spatula" is nowhere near your bladder or urethra (it's in the mouth of the uterus) and should not burn unless the "examiner" is a cretan who was jabbing around like he was probing for precious metal deposits. You could have an infection that was present before the exam or has been acquired since. A trip BACK to ANOTHER specialist if the problem doesn't clear up SOON is in order.

I agree; not normal. By the time you leave the doctor's office, you should not be feeling any pain/discomfort at all. Call you doctor, tell him what happened, and see what he says. If he says it's normal, I would get a second opinion from an advice nurse or another doctor just to make sure your gynie isn't covering his ***. If they agree that it is unusual, the doctor should give you some kind of advice, so just do what he says. Hopefully, it's nothing more than some type of allergic reaction. Hope you feel better.

I've never had that happen. Something is wrong. I would call the doctor and tell them what is going on. It almost sounds like an allergic or otherwise negative reaction to the test.

I always have a few cramps after but it has never burned when I peed. Have you been having alot of sex? Maybe you should go to the doctor, it might be a bladder infection.
Hope it gets better!

You're "guessing" he did a pap? He didn't tell you? As far as lower stomach pain goes, maybe you should have him look for endometriosis -- my wife JUST went through that one.
Good luck!

No, get yourself checked. You shouldn't feel a thing after you leave. Could have been unsterile instruments? Maybe you got yourself a nice lawsuit
