Let me know what you would think of a little friendly competition between the free market health care system and a government controlled one. What would be the result? Can anyone name a government controlled system that is run better than a private one? The military is not an option for obvious reasons.

Government run health care is great if you've got competent people in charge. Look at Sweden or Iceland or Denmark or Canada to a lesser degree.

It doesn't have to be a gold plated system that provides every service, but it should provide the basics.

There are no pros to National Health Care. Why do you think so many people who can afford to pay the price come here for health care rather than their own country(Canada and others)?

If the government stayed out of healthcare the price could go down, ECONOMICS try learning a bit about it.

You will not get one coherent liberal answer on this. I was asking last night, and apparently health care is a right. The reasoning had something to do with the pursuit of happiness being impossible if you are sick. It would be funny if only they didn't vote.

You got it.
Pros for the national health care system: More poor people will die due to lack of adequate medical care; govenment will have more power; your records will become public; doctors will get richer.
Or is that the cons?
