I sing to my sister to make her sleep. I sing to my cousin just to get the feeling that I am better at her than singing. Soon I apologize and feel bad. I still like singing to my sister.

I've been singing to my little dog all week,she is terrified of fireworks and for some reason she thinks my voice is soothing!
If it was only bang bang for a few days I'd get something from the vet but it goes on for ages!
