No, we aren't headed for another "great depression".

No, you certainly should not believe much of anything Bush says. Remember his lies about weapons of mass destruction, and the damage his years in power have caused this country.

Well, we're already in an educationical crisis. Yikes.

Just kidding.

I don't suspect that we will ever have the same type of economic crisis that we did in 1929, unless it's accompanied by some other type of crisis as well. There are controls in place now that will probably prevent a collapse of that magnitude.

Bush says what he's supposed to say to support political motives. Don't listen to the president for your information.

The only times you do not hear people claiming that we are about to enter a economic crisis is during time of crisis. Fear sells the news so the media will always imply that doom is right around the corner.

Not the same kind of crisis because our banking laws and economy have changed.

But we could be headed into a serious economic decline at some point in the next couple of decades. We no longer produce goods for the world, we import them. What are we replacing those jobs with? If we are going to be the brains of the world instead of the brawn, we'd better fix our educational system so that we are producing scientists, inventors, researchers and doctors.

Yes. Because all those illegals, and other aliens, are sending BILLIONS of dollars back home and because people keep buying junk fro Wal-Mart made in China.
Give Bush credit; unemployment is low, the (alleged) inflation rate is low, the Dow is up...

Bush? You blame it on Bush? What about the liberals with the welfare programs that support illegal aliens? Also they support and encourage single women to have children and not get an education to support themselves, bringing their children up the same way. That is our future. I heard an educator speak today about the growing problems of single parents not sending their children to school for an education, and the high dropout rate because of these parents not being involved in their children's education. Our country is going into a crisis if things do not change. The special education departments nationwide enrollments are increasing because of the children whose mothers used drugs and or alcohol while pregnant. What will these children's futures hold for them but poverty?

I HATE TO BREAK THE NEWS TO YOU,BUT THE "US" IS WELL ON ITS WAY TO BECOMING A THIRD WORLD COUNRTY.......

THE US HAS MORE SLUMS THAN MOST POOR COUNTRIES...

THE US HAS MORE HUNGRY KIDS THAN ALMOST ALL OTHER CIVILIZED COUNTRIES..

THE US HAS ONE OF THE HIGHEST POOR TO RICH GAPS ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD...

IT IS A SHAME TO SEE SUCH A BIG COUNTRY WITH SO MANY POOR AND DESPERATE CITIZENS.

IF YOU THINK THIS IS NOT TRUE..GO TO ANY MAJOR US CITY AND WALK IN THE POOR AREAS...IT WONT BE HARD TO FIND THEM..THEY ARE AT EVERY CORNER.

THE WORST PART OF ALL THIS IS THAT THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE IN THIS COUNTRY,WANT TO KEEP IT THIS WAY...ITS BETTER FOR THE BIG ECONOMIC PICTURE TO HAVE MANY ON THE POVERTY LINE.

THE USA IS A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY..NOT TO MENTION THAT ALMOST ALL OF THE DEVELOPED WORLD CANT STAND THEM.....NICE

You mean economic crisis.

Don't believe what GB says...or Hillary...or Osama...or any politician.

Spend one day watching CNBC and reading articles on finance.yahoo.com or any other financial site and make up your own mind.
