Where are the beach houses they show between scenes in Two and a Half Men?

I know they are meant to represent Malibu, but I wonder if it actually is Malibu. The beach houses they show in a low level fly by as transitions between scenes. It looks like the houses are on a little peninsula and there is a bay behind the houses in some of the shots.

I'm pretty sure they're the infamous Malibu stretch of beach houses.
