As it currently stands, the U.S. military gets most of its recruits from those who tend to be from the lower socio-economic classes, while those in higher economic stratas benefit from their defending our nation.
A military draft would tend to be blind to those who would serve and capture people from all socio-economic classes. A Draft would probably do this country some good by instilling discipline in the younger generation that appears to be the "Me Generation"; a generation that does not appear to appreciate the high price paid in the past for defending what they now experience.
Serving this nation in the military, whether you enlist or are drafted, is a commendable thing to do.

Are we ready for that? The draft is now a sexist problem. Draft all male and females, from the age of 18.

Why would you want to go back to a system you already had, and which was very unpopular amongst your citizens.
