Had you asked for candy instead of sausage, I'm sure you'd have been a whole heap more successful!

candy is the best thing in life and I believe everyone should eat at least a ton a day. Yea what about the old days when you had to wait until christmas easter or trick or treat to get any candy because it was bad for you. Remember how big our eyes got when we saw a trick or treat bag full or stocking or easter basket full. I do. lol how times have changed.

We give out candy to the older ones too. but we always run out. We buy about 10, 12 bags of candy and no matter how much we buy we always run out.

Zierkiz- in the USA October 31st is Halloween , an old custom pre-datin Christianity when the veil between life and death is thinnest, It has morphed into Trick-Or-Treat when kids go from door to door in costumes to get candy

Whenever I've been out trick-or-treating, if I'm with younger people than myself, the treat-givers will usually offer me sweets as well, even tho at 6'3 I am obviously far beyond the acceptable age range to deserve any. Perhaps you might borrow a niece or nephew next year and hope for more generosity.

Go back out and get your candy!
You deserve it and let them know you have earned your right to have it.
Who says you are too old to trick or treat?
Has anyone ever said, "No trick or treating after this age?"
Not that I'm aware of. So go for it and have fun!!
You only live once, so you may as well enjoy it!!!!
Good Luck!!!

Was it Trick or Treating time where you live at least?
I give candy to anyone carrying a bag and wearing something to hint at a costume.

Not only did your neighbors not give you candy but the meanies on YA seem to be crabby pants too.

Come to my house we had a lot less kids last night so I have loads of "good candy" (chocolate!) and you can eat your self stupid because I do not need to (I am already stupid)

Happy All Saint's day to you all

I would have ran and hid cause you're a clown. LOL. I ran out of candy a hour after it started and had to turn out my lights and I felt bad. I knew I didn't have enough candy but I went to Walmart and found two small bags to add to what I had and it still wasn't enough. They were almost out of candy. Isn't that crazy?

You shouldn't go around just begging for candy. It looks bad, and gives you a scraggly impression. It doesn't matter how old you are, just trick-or treat properly and keep your manners.
