yes, i have been called Pinhead since i was born and i dont know why, my older cousin who was younger at the time of course gave it to me and it stuck ever since, no one means it in a bad way but its just my nickname

My real name is Yvette, but my family call me voo. I think it may have come from my brother being only 2 years older than me and small and not being able to say my name properly.... But I am not sure. It really is only a family thing though, none of my friends call me this. To my niece and nephew I am aunty voo. It works well cause Aunty Yvette is a bit of a mouthful really.

I have a friend who calls me Flink, for no apparent reason. There's no F in my name, nor does any part of my name rhyme with, or otherwise resemble Flink in any manner whatsoever.
