For my yearbook class, I have to take pictures of the clubs, dance, breakdance, orchestra, and the step team. However, I am not that great at taking pictures. What are some good websites that might help me? Also do you have any "angle" ideas? These photos are not to be posed either which makes it much more difficult.

Preparation will help you.
Make contact with who ever is in charge - introduce yourself, ask permission for access and explain what you intention is. Have them introduce you to the group - if you don't already know them.

Try to go to the rehearsals for the different groups - checkout the lighting, the general layout, try to get some idea of what you will encounter.

Use the rehearsals not only to plan your shots, but also to take some "behind-the-scenes" photos (often more relaxed photos are possible), you maybe able to "encourage" the subjects into situations - not exactly pose, but have for example - a contrast between a cello player setting up beside the piccolo player - there maybe something totally unexpected and quirky turnup in your vewfinder.

Go with the flow - don't get distracted by editing and checking out every photo after you take it - establish that your settings are correct - then keep shooting! (Editing can be done later, don't miss the oppotunity during the event - just continue to click away!)

Go to the dance rehearsals so you know what jumps/turns/poses etc are good to take photos of before they perform.

The photographers at my dance comps know what the preparation is before a fantastic leap or something is done.

Good luck with the yearbook :)
