I find them both to be unwatchable. The NBA has more interesting storylines in the summer. The game to me has just become more brutal to watch with every passing year.

I hate the hypocrisy of the NHL its ridiculous they have guys carried out w/broken necks and concussion and they say that's part of the sport.
And then the NBA gets hit so hard as soon as people start fighting. The open arena to the fans on the court-side is like no other sport I can think of coming off the top of my head. Of course grown men are going to fight in the NBA. It's competition C'Mon people!!!! U might as well hit NFL and Rugby (don't think I spelled that right) It may be professional but people talk made trash NBL, NBA, and NFL.

I dont like the NHL......The only thing i have against the NBA is that the game since rigged, even though a team has the ability to blow out another team, they dont....Also all the trades, teams such as the 01- 04 kings were great, but because of all the trades, the kings suck now

If they made the NBA a full contact sport, it would be better. So, the NBA is worse. Overpaid and players get less abuse than an NHL player. There would be "grilles" all over the floor if it were like the NHL.

* NBA players certainly make the news (outside the court venue) more often. Drugs. Rapine. Fights. Shootings. NHL players are pikers in these arenas.
On the other hand, it takes the mind of a drooling idiot to enjoy basketball (wait and see - some will show themselves, make comments about my note and prove my point). Hockey is far more interesting, fast moving, and violenr than African Handball.

The NHL is worse...nobody really watches the NBA but they still have better ratings than the NHL.

Is hockey televised, other than ESPN highlights! When they only show the championship round of hockey on national tv you know your sport is in dire need of an upgrade or rule changes or total cancellations or. . .

NHL all it is, is just fighting its so boring to. but with basketball theres a dunk almost on every other play. its a high tempo game if the defender loses track of his man for one second hes going to get dunked on. but thats just my opinion
