I tested a week after period was due and got a positive first time, both times. Brand was confirm I think?
Anyway, I am due again today but sore boobs all week and so far nothing today so will wait a few days and test next week when I am more likely to get an accurate answer.

If we are both pregnant we will be due at the same time! Yay for us!

I took a dollar pregnancy test that I purchased at the Dollar Tree before my missed period and I received a positive result which I then confirmed with a doctor. Keep in mind that a false negative is more common then a false positive so you may still be pregnant. I say get a test with a digital read out and try to take the test with your first morning urine to be sure.

Everyone is different, but I could always test 1-2 days before my missed cycle and the test showed a clear positive. If the hormone is present, I think that any name brand should work.
My advice would be to wait a few more days and try again if you still havent started. If you are still having symptoms and no cycle, make an apointment with your doctor and have a blood test done, they are more accurate than the urine ones.

Good luck!

I bought the Wal-Greens brand test, and it was accurate. I took it the 3rd day after my period was missed. They all tend to work the same, but some are easier to read (i.e. Pregnant or Not Pregnant spelled out for you) so you may want to do that. I checked my test kit a dozen times to make sure I was reading it right, lol!

i started ttc the beganing of july & I was testing like crazy (maybe evry 3 weeks or 2 ) I was soo eager to get a positive. i was very late for my period by 3months i had it just 2 days ago and the night before i got a positive ,but now i'm unsure. generally any test will work as ong as your body has hcg in it. I was so excited ,but now i have to wait i'v ebeen a little eager ever since. good lcuk to you . baby dust to you.
