They are not too impressed with the need for instant gratification and selfishness and greed that is running rampid in today's society. They are depressed and confused because the older generation struggled threw the depression and worked a lifetime to earn an honest living, and yes they fought hard at home and abroad to keep freedom and secure the American dream of freedom and prosperity, and now they are left with skyrocketing food, gas and heating expenses, and a medicare system that cost them nothing but a huge price tag for substandard insurance that they do not understand, because the government has handed it over to the greedy insurance companies who will screw them to their graves.

the korean and vitenam veterans i know have conveyed to me on many occasions that the current situation is an embarassment. They can not beleive that our soldeirs are dying for Bush, the lies, the greed.
Most of the veterans over 50 years old or so tell me that the tragedy is the American life lost for such blatent corruption by bush.
they don't like it.
