yes, i met someone that was sooo materialistic and i am soooo not... we were kinda forced in a situation where we really had to be friends but she ended up "growing on me" and now i really enjoy her company. (and when it is just us, she drops the act of "all that" and lets her feet touch the ground - i actually think she enjoys the break) lol

My best friend.
She was a grade ahead of me in school and was a cheerleader and always just so fricking peppy. Made me sick!
In our mid 20's we worked together and got to know each other. Found out she was so "peppy" at school because her home life was a living hell. Ended up being best of friends and it has continued for nearly 20 years.

Yes! One of my very best female friends struck me as so overbearing at first that I used to actually try to avoid her at all costs. Once, I even asked her to leave me alone! But she continued to follow me and eventually I realised she was a very nice girl who just wanted to be friends and I gave in.

yes, then she ended up sleeping w/ my cousins man, and talking bad about me, so i smacked her around. anywhooo i was right in the 1st place and never listen to anyone again. if i start off not liking you its probably a good idea to just leave me alone.
