My days are usually all right but for some minor annoyances and guilt feelings.
For example, this morning in the forum where I write messages to express my opinions on a host of issues, there are uncivil posters there who just cannot or will not be gentlemen and ladies, but must use virulent language like words of the street connected with the posterior apertures of our common anatomy.
These are very insecure people who have no skill in using their brain cells and no ideas inside their cranium, but also want to make themselves visible, hence their way of getting attention: by being rude and foul-mouthed.
Then also I have my daily guilt feelings which are not of the having murdered someone kind, or committed theft, or done some sexual perversities, but of the many things I have to put in order in the house, put away, fix, clean, throw away, but I keep procrastinating, on one excuse or another.
For example, today in my place is All Saints Day when people go to the cemetery to remember their deceased family members and spend some time with them, i.e., their earthly remains. So I say to myself no need to keep busy today, it's a holiday -- though I don't go today but had gone to the cemetery two weeks ago to visit my dearly beloved folks on the other side of the grave.
You see the kind of guilt feelings I have; but not to worry myself too much, because I say to myself what is the use of free choice when I can't choose to not do what I should be doing so many days back -- and I don't give a heck to anyone.
Besides my wife and kids love me, and my wife specially always tells me to take it easy everytime she sees me with the tools into some work in the house or in the garage or tinkering with the cars.
So, it's usually a good day, but for annoyances like the ones I mentioned above and also my guilt feelings for not putting in more work to make my home more neat and orderly.
I should not be writing more answers now, but since there is this invitation to answer some more for being on a roll... So why not, I enjoy writing.

Nice of you to ask, Had men working in the field today. Two men at $55 per hour for 4 hours ran up a $440 labor bill plus parts. It is not cheap keeping my oil production going. The price of oil on the world market was $94.53 and after I pay shipping cost I make $88.75 per barrel. Seems like a lot of money, but after I take out all my cost and pay my taxes that barrel of oil nets me $60. I wonder how I made it when oil was at $15 two years back.

Thanks, Nicole!! Are you sugar-buzzing from all the Halloween candy?
My day was better than usual, since I got to see so many cute kids with their costumes on. And I gave out mini-bags of popcorn, which the kids seemed to enjoy.
Hope you had an awesome last day of October, and hope your November is wonderful. You are so sweet to ask everyone how they're doing :-)

My day was good, went to work, came home, got lots of kisses from my 2 pups, the only thing was that even though we bought candy, we only had 2 kids knock on our door today :( it's okay, i'm watching the Ghost Hunters and eating chocolate and i have one of my pups laying next to me...my day just got better...yum.
I hope your day was good too.

I'm old and long ago I learned this formula for a successful day.
Do at least ONE thing just to help someone else.
Do at least ONE thing just to help YOU.
Do at least ONE thing that you really don't want to do but MUST.
Do at least ONE thing that you just REALLY WANT to do even if you don't need to.
If you can lay in bed at night and run through this list and say, "yeah, I DID that" then you've had a SUCCESSFUL day.

mine started off fine, then became irregular. Too much running around for me, plus i forgot that it was Halloween and couldn't figure out why people were handing out candy. I'm so confused and lost at the moment..

Oh Man! I broke the computer at work, ran over the boss's cat in the parking lot, hit his car and broke a tail light, backed over his wifes foot, and smashed the stroller she was pushing.
How was your day?
