I always hear my phone ringing, and there's this missed call from my aunt. Problem is, she died in an accident two days ago!

You're either hearing things- which could be totally possible or you could be getting a call from the phone which your aunt had.

My sympathy on the loss of your aunt.
Of course one has to eliminate all the normal explanations first like someone else using her phone (home or cell). If her number and address is programmed in your phone it could be a glitch in your own phone that is displaying a call that did not happen. Or it is pulling up her ID even when the person calling is a wrong number and hanging up.
However, I have listed a book below that was written by two investigators that have looked into this reported phenomena. It might be of some interest to you.

First let me say how sorry I am for your loss . There are so many people who have had visitations from loved ones after they have passed I Had an experience after my mothers passing and I have had many reported experiences in some of my investigations.I hope this is not a cruel joke being played on you by someone as it is sick show of humor it could be your aunt needed to tell you something before she passed and she is trying to tell you now it also could be that she is letting you know she is alright or she has sensed somewhere in your life of your doubt in the life hereafter and she is letting you know there is more to our lives than this physical plain the next time it rings answer it let her know your going to be fine and you know that there is more to this life.In most cases once the relief that holds them here can be achieved it brings closure and they realize their work here is complete and they move on I hope your pain eases in your loss you have my deepest condolences

I'd check and find out who has your aunt's phone. Hopefully it wasn't buried with her. Is it a cellphone? There was something on the news the other day about phones ringing and no one there...but I didn't hear the whole story about the reason why.

Someone is playing a (lame) joke on you. You can program your phone to display whatever number you want on someone else's phone. I could call you and you would think it was your aunt. Either that or someone is using her phone.

She's been trying to get your attention but you're not seeing it. She wants you to know something, but I don't get what. That she's okay? But that means she's trying to reach you from beyond the grave, that at the very least she wants you to know that she's around. Were you close to her? But I get that she has a message for you. Watch your dreams, she may come to you there. Next time your phone rings and it's her...pick it up. Weirdly enough, you may get to talk to her that way.

Love and light

My Mom got a call from her Father on his birthday about a year after he passed. She was in a dream state but swears the call was her Dad's way of communicating with her. He told her he was fine. You should call the number back and see who picks up...

Often the recently deceased want to reassure the living they are okay on the other side. It tends to stop in a few months or when the living get the message, not to be afraid, worry and let go and move on.
