I took regular BC for 12 years. Quit, and got pregnant (on purpose) my first month off. Nursed that child for a year, while taking Errin. No problems. Went back on regular BC for a few months, then quit and conceived again my first month off. Nursed that child for a year, but had a lot of trouble with Errin. Had some month-long periods. Had 2-month stretches with no period at all. Had some ovarian cysts. Finally had to quit, and use barrier methods until I weaned my daughter.

The OB says both experiences are totally normal.

As long as you have no reason to believe that you're pregnant, you shouldn't worry. (Test, if you're not sure.)

And talk to your doc next time you're in, or sooner if you continue to have problems.

Did you have normal period before you started taking the pill?

If not, it may take a while for your period to start.
