I did. But I didn't know the guy died IN the house til after I bought it.

I felt that it was a little haunted (before I knew he died there). But, it didn't seem to be a hostile spirit, so it didn't really bother me. The guy had lived there for 40 years and raised his family there and you felt a lot of love in the house, which is why I bought it.

Someone who died a violent death though... no.

I did. When I first moved here to Texas I was in middle school and kids on the bus told me a man had died in my house. Of course I didn't believe them, but over the years so much creepy stuff has happened. Not just to me, but to all of my siblings. My parents had the house blessed so many times, but that didn't help any. Eventually though, the creepy stuff just stopped.

Yes, I think I would.

I might be a little creeped out that someone was murdered there but it would not stop me.
A house is a house..it's what you make of it.

It is not something I would ask about, in terms of the house, nor would expect to be told something like that. Some things are just better left unsaid.

If I wanted to buy the house, the fact that someone died in it probably won't bother me. In fact, the last owner of the house I live in now died here; my husband and I can still feel her presence.

Sure...their soul (spirit, whatever you call it) is long gone and there should be no harm to the house itself. It is an inanimate object and shouldn't cause you any fear whatsoever! If you think you would feel uneasy, have your priest or pastor come over and bless the house! You can make it into a house blessing party and invite lots of people over! Good luck!

Right now i say no, but thinking well, depends on the environment or the the feelings i'll get by just taking a look to the house, if i feel nothing and i fell calm, problably, why not, but surely i'll get someone to bless it first, but if i feel something weird or uncomfortness in there no change i'm going in that house!!

I bought my house from an old neighbor. I sort of think the man did die in the house but, I really don't want to know. He died here or in the hospital.

I did. The husband of the former owner died in the bath tub. She ended up dying in a hospital, but even with a guy having died here, it didn't make a difference. The place isn't haunted.

YES! Grew up in one...I had mentioned a haunted house growing up....Someone had hung themselves there, I later found out. He protected us. I moved into a home without knowing it....It was a bit more freaky, but, the Spirit didn't bother me much- Just toss a cabinet open....Moved things...I think this one was just playful. This had been the death of a child in the 2nd case. (Illness)
