definitely "c" - i read a LOT and one thing i will always remember is reading an article that explained "children with unusual names will experience ridicule and problems" - my name is "Andra", but that is because I changed it to be less ethnic - i work over the telephone, and boy, oh, boy, you cannot IMAGINE what difficulties i have encountered with my "given name" - although i am black, my parents were both teachers with DEGREES, so they made sure all the kid's asses had good diction, etc. and we had to get good grades in school. i wish my name had been Jane.

1)so your mom can call you in for dinner
2) so we don't walk around saying "Hey you over there"
3)we need our names for when someone calls you on the phone...otherwise how are we going to know who it's for.
4) I can't think of anymore, I'm tired.

My name Michael means "close to God". I was named after my dad.

I have a son Michael the third, and a son Gregory which means "Watchman on the wall".

if there are no names...we will be calling each other "eh!" then every1 would turn around thinking that you call them...or...would you like people calling you "hey human!" so name is important...
