My last period started 7 days ago [wednesday], and ended 4 days after that [the following sunday]. My boyfriend and I used a condom on monday, but it accidentally slipped off when he pulled out. Some sperm touched me, but I washed right away. Then again today [wednesday], we used a condom, and the same thing happened. Though I don't know if any sperm got into me. Maybe a little got on me, but I washed right away [like I did two days ago]. Is it possible for me to get pregnant? Even though I finished my period almost four days ago and only a little sperm may have spilled on me? Should I use emergency contraception? I'm not sure whether or not I am safe, or if I am at risk of unwanted pregnancy. Thank you.

In theory a woman's cycle is 28 days long, with her ovulating on the 14th day. This is what the "cycle beads method (a simplified rhythm method)" of birth control counts on (where you watch for the days you can conceive and don't have sex those days) . Because sperm can live inside a woman 5-7 days, you aren't supposed to have sex on that day, nor the appropriate days surrounding that day (they recommend abstaining on days #8-18, day #1 being the first day of your period).

However, each woman ovulates different days, and sometimes even the same woman will vary from period to period. So, in short, yes, you could have. It is unlikely, but definitely possible. Go get the Plan B right away (available at most pharmacies--just go up to the counter to get it). You may also want to look into a different method of bc.

If you have sex the answer is Yes!! I know this must come as a shock, but having sex is the #1 cause for pregnancy!!! You cannot wash sperm away, you can get pregnant at any time duing your cycle although some times are less likely. If you don't want to get pregnant and if this happened less than 72 hours ago then you can take the Plan B pill. If you are concerned at all take it..

First off you need to make sure your b/f gets an appropriate fitted condom. If the condom is to large then it will slip off. The chances of you getting pregnant from it being spilled on the outside of your vagina are slim. If you feel that you may become pregnant go to your local planned parenthood for emergency contraception. I gather from this question you may be younger than me by a few years :) My suggestion to you is to refrain from sexual activities. If you feel that is not a possibility contact your local planned parenthood and get on some form of birth control. They will not contact your parents so yo do not need to worry about that. Just remember that birth control and condoms are not 100% safe. Is it worth the risk of ruining your life by having a child you are not prepared for. I wish you the best of luck.
