chased a cat up a tree
then it meowed
and meowed again
"Get me down"
"That cat is me!"

Queen of the Hive
A pot is set that some do see,
then comes a running, the Queen Bee.
The stench calls also to her court.
The stage is set for the old sport.
You’d think the hive would just make honey.
The game they play is just not funny.
The drones look on somewhat amuzed,
at least the ones that aren’t confused.
The stakes establish superiority.
For many a fair bee, inferiority.
The Queen, she seeks the prize, the Dude.
He fails to see her rude attitude.
The court must know she is the best.
The hive, somehow just thinks she’s bless’d.
She buzzes about without a care.
She acts as if some bees aren’t there.
To those that aren’t within her court
she stings with venom in retort.
She says to one, “You dumb retard!”
And to another, “You tub of lard!”
“There’s a pimple on her nose!”
Were she a boy, there would be blows.
Within her court she is no better.
She’ll tear one down just for her sweater.
She smiles sweetly to one’s face,
then stabs her back to her disgrace.
Her favorite phrase is “I’m just kidding.”
Many good bees refrain from spitting.
“How does a bee endure? Tell me!”
- The pot she drinks. Tee hee. Tee hee.

poem that i wrote...its kinda long...i wrote it 4 a long time
Down
I can't believe it, tell me I am dreaming that we are still we.
It was amazing said you were lucky that you found me.
It was on a rainy day that we met, you didn't have a place to go.
As we just met so lets go slow but no you just told me to keep you from the cold
Sorry I can't take it, why did you fake it, why did we kiss.
And I’m just down, you've left me with a note without a sound.
I've figured I must stop being such a child. You'll never know how much I’ve been around.
How my heart just frowns on your down
I'll be your teddy bear, I’ll be your cloud, I’ll take you round and round
And if you don't mind I could be your standing ground
Even if that means I’ll drown.
And baby that will be my one last vow

I would write I poem
I really would
but people tend to be so critical
im always misunderstood
I don't know your purpose
you haven't told me why
for I could write a poem
and in another question with the poem
see your name by it's side
Please don't take offense because of my words
to hurt anyone is a practice I dare not try
just trying to keep it real about what goes on
when you deal with those yahoo answer lies.
Yeah I was just having fun with this. I would explain what it means but it's pretty self-explanitory. If you know what I mean.LOL

here's a poem I wrote...
Sanctuary
The soft sand beneath me,
With blue waves crashing down,
It’s all a surreal dream,
One with no worries,
No problems about life,
About love, about hope.
And the clouds pass by,
As if nothing is wrong in the world.
And I sit in my sacred spot,
My peaceful getaway,
From a world with hate,
With crime and dishonesty.
But sitting here, away from that world,
Reassures me about what is good,
And that everything is calm here.
With the soft sand beneath me,
With the blues waves crashing down,
Here is where the world stops,
For serenity, for those memories we long to cherish.
And by just sitting here,
I know that everything will be all right.

I woke up this morning,
I pictured her face.
There was that beauty so rare.
Lord, I need you
To tell her for me.
I've got a lot of loving to share.
Lord, please tell her I love her,
Lord please tell her I care.
I want her,
I need her,
Oh God I wanna please her,
I've got a lot of loving to share.
*Actually this is a song I wrote. I was with 92 year old lady as she was dying. She thought I was her husband that had died 10 years earlier. As I knelt by her bedside she asked me to sing her a love song (thinking I was her husband). I wrote this song off the top of me head and sang it to her. She died peacefully thinking he was with her.,

"NEVER GOOD ENOUGH"
I ONCE BELIEVED IN A PRISM DREAM
THAT I COULD BE THAT WHOLE HEARTEDLY
ONE THAT UNCOVERS THE MASK OF PAIN
TO UTTER THE WORDS 'BRING ME HOME AGAIN'
TO THAT PLACE I THOUGHT COULD BE
A HOME OF REFUGE...BUT THAT'S NOT REALITY.
WHERE DRAGONS ROAR AND FAIRIES FLY
IS THE SONG I SING WHEN ALL IS UNDONE;
TWISTING, TURNING, CHURNING, BLEEDING PAIN.
NEVER TO BE 'GOOD ENOUGH' OR TO GO HOME AGAIN.
SHE HAS SEEN INSIDE AND LET THE WORLD KNOW
HOW MY TORTURED CALLOUSED BRUISES GROW
INTO A WORLD FORSAKEN WHERE LOST REGRETS
NUMB, BLIND, COLD. IF ONLY I COULD FORGET.
HOW DARE YOU SEE ME AGAIN,
INTO MY WRETCHED ABYSS YOU HAVE BEEN,
REMINDING ME I CAN NEVER COME HOME AGAIN.
