My best friend got married at 13 he was 16 after 3 1/2 yrs. of marriage the marriage was annulled. She became successfull business woman and he is successfull as well.

He has been married twice , he is currently single . She has never married and does not have any children.

Well they ran into each other @ the movies. Went out to dinner and talked and answered a lot of unaswered questions. Very deep.

He wants to finish his life with her. She thinks she wants to do the same, but she is also scared to death.

I want to tell her to go for it - But I am also scared and happy for her. What do you think ?

I believe they should get together cos maybe they lost before an finding each other again maybe is a good sign.. I guess if the love an connection is there for both people theres not really anything stopping you but being scared.. scared of what? I guess we can be nervous more so an yeah but these people know each other already an they feel it happening again for them.. dont be scared maybe cos they dont do this they will never know an you never know could be what they both want an need.. good luck

As a friend I would remind her that the honeymoon stage will not last forever, and maybe she should wait to see if this is the right move this time, after all she has her own place and he has his, so tell her to take her time to get to know him and what he is like now, because we all grow and change from the experiences of life. Hope your friend does find true happiness, sounds like she deserves it.

Woah! Slow and steady wins the race.

In fact - past history shows that fast and furious results in failure. If this relationship is going to last, it will do so with or without the ring.

Enjoy each day. If it's meant to be, the emotions will increase over time.

I don't see what the big deal is.

This all happened when they were children....hopefully they've grown up now and are smarter and more mature.

I they think they should act as though they don't really know each other and start dating.

you don't say how old they are now, but they both sound scared due to the failed marriage(s), they should spend time together, see if they still enjoy each others company, I think it sounds kinda sweet and talk about a true childhood sweetheart story!

If they're so scared, perhaps they should wait on marriage and date for awhile, live together and then decide.

There isn't any reason they can't have a "second chance" relationship since they are both availble now, but I would advise them to take it slow.

He got married at 13??? If that's the case, it sounds like they are covenant spouses and God only recognizes marriages between covenant spouses and no one else.
