I bought a new computer just under a month ago...an HP desktop. I have a bunch of photos and videos from my digital camera I want to put on my computer, but when I insert the memory card into the tower, it doesn't do anything. Rarely it will actually AutoRun and show my files like its supposed to, but most of the time I can't do anything with it...its like its not there. What's wrong with this stupid computer? Why won't it work?!

did you try leaving it in your digivideocam and using the USB cord?

I can not get photos from my SD card onto my HP. But this is only when I am using my Canon camera.
I have to use the USB connect cord.

Try the USB cable hooked up to the device you used.
Not sure well if its vista its easy vista sucks!
Is your SD card locked?

if it works "rarely", take the computer back - the problem is probably a bad connection in the computer.
