Ok, ive been having some issues down there lately. I was on the shot for about a year and didnt have a period during that time. I went off of the shot and before i got my first period, i got a funky odor..kind of salty, like after sex. It went away when my period finally started. but came back for a short time again. I believe i may have a yeast infection but im unsure. I have had two periods now, and both have been a ittle off from what they were before. Now, i have some serious anxiety issues about health, especially when it concerns "down there"issues. I havent gone outside my marriage or anything, and im sure my husband hasnt either, so even tho i freak about it, i dont think thats what it is. IS there other things that might go on other then a yeast infection? Usually my discharge is pretty normal, sometimes it has an unpleasant odor(but not rotten or anything) im just a little nevrvous about it. I had decided to go ahead and get some monistat tomorrow either way, but

what else is there that this can be,. Im not very experienced in these things and am unsure. Im going to freak out about it until i get in for my yearly im sure, but id like to be able to reasearch something to see what exactly it could be other then a simple yeast? I drink an ungodly amoint of soda everyday, and i know sugar can make it worse..but anyways, any helpful advice? I know its a scattered question but im a little nervous. Any charecterisitc odors or colors of discharge? Also i have some lower back cramping thats just sprung up in the last 2 weeks, and after my last period was over a few days ago i had some intense pain in my lower abdomen...i am continuing to have cramping and back pain even now, 3 days after the period stopped. and im retty sure this isnt std...was tested when i had my daughter, and was clean..no adultery on either side. just as a side note..i just got over my period...is there a chance i could be pregnant? i dont take BC but my husband usually pulls out...i have been pregnant before..but i thought if you had your eriod you were good?

sorry so many edits..but im a lil nervous and my thoughts are scattered..but also ive got some nausea..im having some hot flashes too...very very mild but a bit uncomfortable still

I suggest making an apt. with your doc., he/she can check you out to make sure everything is o.k. in your body.
Anyone trying to answer your question would just be guessing, don't leave your health to Yahoo Answers.
Something is definitely off, whether its hormones, stress or something else....
I wouldn't just try to self-medicate yourself, if you don't know what's going on.

imnot so sure...maybe a really bad yeast infection..they have at home testing now
