Call them and tell them about it. Most likely they will ask you to go back to them and out of goodwill, give you a replacement. Remember tell them quietly at the counter, not infront of the crowd, they won't like people to know about it...."face value".

Well, if you can prove the Jack in the Box food actually killed the fly and you are suffering emotional distress over losing it, you might have a case. Otherwise, I guess you should just get a small matchbox to use for a casket, dig a hole (at least 6 feet deep to keep scavengers away), and call the preacher. I went to a funeral for a friend's pet fly a few weeks ago... it was the saddest thing I have ever been at.

Take the food, along with your receipt and the dead fly, back to Jack In The Box. Most managers will either replace your food or refund your money.

Throw that section of the food away?
The restaurant probably had no knowledge that the fly was in the bag/box. Pick it off and cut the area around it out, and eat the rest, or toss the whole thing--whatever your instinct says to do.

-uuughhhhh! did you save the wedges? take them back - document everything you are told; who you spoke with and at , what time, when you received the tainted food (please tell us that you saved your receipt)!! it may be that you can do the universally popular thing and file a complaint/lawsuit). if you don't have all of this info, but do have the product, simply going back to the franchise you purchased the food from and present it - you will probably be able to obtain a small settlement ($$/check) - we bought rotten pork from Safeway, and took the product and receipt back and received a day's lost wages) - we didn't pursue further because we were broke!! good luck, next time, eat rite - remember, the E-coli hamburgers came from "jack in the crack"-?!!!

Um, stop eating it and throw the rest away? What else is there to do? It's not like the fly is going to hurt you. Yes, it's gross, but come on...it's not like you found a finger or anything. (Ha ha, the Wendy's thing? Okay not funny.)
LMAO...don't call an attorney. That is the dumbest thing you could possibly do. What in the world is this attorney going to do for you? Seriously. I agree with what another person said...if you don't like what you found, don't eat fast food prepared by someone else! Man alive.

Take it back to the restaurant and demand to speak to the Manager!!! That's really disgusting and unsanitary, you should do something! I would also call a health inspector and let them know of the incident just in case the restaurant doesn't do anything!
