I was just on it because I was trying to find someone from my school. I don't have a myspace, because as I was looking through the profiles, I found it very sad and depressing. A majority of the girls try so hard to be sluts and wh*res. It's like they all try to be the same and they try so hard just so a guy will comment, "Wow you're hot." Is this why children are more obese? They go home after school, sit in their air conditioned house and spend hours on Myspace? What ever happened to going outside and playing ball with the neighborhood kids. I can imagine it only getting worse from here. Maybe in 20+ years the America will just lock themselves in their house's and talk to eachother on the computer. God forbid social interaction.
Does anyone agree? (with these statements)

i never go on myspace anymore!! i totally agree with you. i hate signing onto that crap just to get my feelings hurt for some idiotic crap. when someone takes me off their top 20 or whatever, for some reason it just gets to me, or when i sign on and dont get any comments. why should i let a computer web site control the way i feel? and its getting a little gross with all the attention grabbers and people like that on there. down with myspace!!!

I totally agree. While there are a few nice pages (mine, my friends, and several others), the bizarre to outrageous ones outnumber them at least 20 to one. It's a testament to how far our society has gotten out of control. It truly is sad how younger folks want to socialize on the Internet and will do whatever it takes to attract others. This is only part of why childhood obesity is at epidemic proportions. Read some of my other stuff (you'll have to make me a contact) for my outspoken attitude toward diet and nutrition. Since becoming diabetic, I've made it my life's study to learn all I can about the food we eat. If I would have known what I know now just 10 years ago, I would not be diabetic today. If you think it's bad now, just wait a few years. Hospitals are already overwhelmed. Ever sit in a doctor's office waiting for two hours? That's nothing.

Myspace grew extremely annoying and repetitive after a few months. I made my first account when it was still relatively unpopular. Those I were friends with had great convos through Myspace and everything went well, until those I really dislike began making them, stirring up trouble and the like, and I just said 'forget it' after a while. Fun while it lasted, but it's useless now. Too many fights arise as a result of the website.

There is a little 12 yr old girl i know in person on myspace and it's sad cuz she tries to be checked out and i sometimes want to tell her mom

There are also a lot of guys who are sex predators. They go after the sweet, innocent girls. (Yes there are some of them on there.) A friend of my daughter just got taken advantage of by one of these creeps. She is still trying to figure out what happened. Poor kid!
I was disgusted last night---young girls coming to the house for trick or treat---some of them with barely enough clothes on to get past the health department.

Yeah i understand how you experience, i got here across 2 of my associates because fifth grade on myspace and now they smoke weed & ciggarettes. enable me inform you they're underage from the smoking decrease. yet for others like relations some are from yet another united states or state i bypass over them dearly. be at liberty in spite of the indisputable fact that :] Take Care

Thank God for you! I was starting to think there were none of you still not under their power. You spoke volumes about the state of youth right now...and it is on a downward spiral.
Yet, you have the guts to think for yourself. Protest by not doing what everyone else is doing. Be above the video junkie.

i have a myspace but i totally agree. all my friends do seem sluttish if you see them in myspace. and I'm aslo notice I'm never going out as much...but hey...its really addictive. I need to do something to occupy me
