Get a lot of small plastic or Styrofoam balls (maybe even breakfast cereal?). Grease your hand slightly, and then completely cover your hand with the balls, uniformly, one layer thick, and minimum gaps. Then get a flat pan and spread those balls on it, again uniformly, one layer thick, and minimum gaps. Measure the flat area it covers.

Yes I think there is a easy way.
Divide each finger into a rectangle. Calculate the length and breadth of each finger and find the area of each finger.

Then consider the palm as a rectangle and find the length and breadth and then area.

area=length*breadth;

The Surface area of one side is=Sum of all areas

Total Surface Area=2*(sum of all areas)

This method can give you answer approximately upto wrist, you can calculate for your whole hand in similar way.
