Just don't run it when it's wet unless you want the paint messed up.

The LeBra is inexpensive because it's cheaply made. It's lightweight and probably will flap at highway speeds, plus the backing is pretty flimsy and may chafe and rub off the clear coat. Many years ago I bought one for an '89 Ford Probe (long sloping hood) in spite of a friend's warning. Sure enough, he was right...which I learned the hard way.

I've since discovered Colgan Custom. More expensive, but well worth it. Quality construction and great customer service. I understand Wolf also makes a good product. With any car bra, take it off if it gets wet (it will discolor the paint), don't wash the car while the bra is on it (duh!...but I see people doing it), remove it weekly and clean out the grit, leaves and pine needles that accumulate behind it. It's also a good idea to leave it off periodically for a while. Car bras are not like bug deflectors. You can't just put 'em on and forget 'em. They require some maintenance.

I personally hate bra's with a passion. Why would anyone want to cover up the front of their car with an ugly bra. They are also notorious for fading the paint. But - If you must have one, I would have bought one from a Honda dealership. They are higher quality and also come with your cars name on the bra.

As for bra's being in style, I think that is a matter of opinion. I dont think it is so much a question of style, but of function. The bra wasnt made to make your car stylish. It was made to "protect" your car.

Anyway, they are a good idea because they protect the paint from getting chipped from gravel. Your car doesn 't have to be female!

I don't know about car "style", but you don't see too many cars with bras any more.
